20 years service!

We have a very valued member of the team, who not only has her birthday today, but also celebrates 20 years’ service with The Mortgage Shop on this very day. When we rescued Heidi 20 years ago from a well-known local estate agents, little did we know, that she would still be part of the furniture 2 decades on.

Tenacious, feisty, dramatic, delightful, relentless, warrior, charismatic, just some of the terms used to describe her by the team that works with Heidi. She has been a very pivotal member of the business, and we calculate that she has processed or spoken with well over 5,000 clients in her time, and it is no coincidence that she has received more gifts, flowers, chocolates and her favoured red wine, than anyone else in the office!

If you look at our many 5 star google and Facebook reviews, her name comes up time and time again, as she is very determined to solve a problem and the epitome of our mantra ‘there is always a solution’!

We know that Mike and Gary (the directors of the business over the years), could never have been so successful without your ability to get many mortgages over the line without her determination, loyalty, and professionalism.
We are not so sure she will want to do another 20 years here, but let’s hope you get to at least 30 years, and please don’t ever stop having those daily dramas!
